According to reports, Manchester City expects a busy summer transfer window despite a slow start. However, some fans are impatient as club insiders estimate at least two additional signings after the imminent arrival of Brazilian midfielder Savio.
The Premier League champions identified several key positions for reinforcement but progress has been hampered by recently concluded European tournaments. Although groundwork has been done, City awaits an available substitute for defensive midfielder Rodrigo. Bruno Guimarães and Joshua Kimmich remain targets.
They could also address left-back after they have let Sergio Gomez go to Real Sociedad similarly; they may even make two midfield signings in search of attacking flair and possible replacement for Kevin De Bruyne or Bernardo Silva whom might exit.
